Feeling Artsy

I didn't have computer all day today so I decided to clean the shelves in the house, more particularly dust the center table and arrange my stuff. I also planned to clean my storage space at the kitchen area and look into my boxes as I have been searching for my watercolor book for ages.

I found my watercolor set and brushes (but I still can't find my book!). Then I also found my pastel set and my pastel pencils which I was looking for last Christmas, I thought someone stole them. Turns out they were in a plastic inside the upper storage of Tet's closet. Nice! And I found paper presents, one pad for pastel from TQ Christmas of 2005 and one pad of watercolour paper from Ate Maita for my bday of 2006.

Mang Dodong had to put in the new faucet for the Kitchen Sink so while I waited...

I drew and painted. I haven't drawn and painted in like 2 years and it felt quite nice. I am doing a set of art works which come in a set of 4 but can come out as individual pieces (ok maybe not, feeling ko lang, hahaha). I want to do them in 3 mediums - chalk pastel, charcoal and watercolour. But I am such a beginner in watercolor and it is so  frustrating that I don't have my guidebook. I hope I find it soon, I have been wasting expensive paper.

Back to my FIRST LOVE
For aspiring photographers, you might want to read this link below which my friend Paolo shared. It's a good, simple read and explains very simply how things work in a SLR camera. I'm sure you'll find this quite informative.
